Dreaming of Japan

Today marks one month exactly until our ship sets sail! And even though Japan doesn't come until the end of our voyage, I am already looking forward to all the things I have missed since my last visit there. I cannot wait to be sitting in a little hole-in-the-wall ramen shop, with a steaming bowl of noodles the size of my head, tears streaming down my face from the heat, and a little old Japanese lady peeking out from behind the giant cooking vat to ask, dou desu ka?
